Course Syllabus

Spring Semester Syllabus Update: Course Schedule & Expectations

After reviewing our Fall progress and Spring goals, adjustments were made to the original Spring syllabus schedule. These changes were intentional and designed to better support skill development in:

  • Professional readiness

  • Business communication

  • Financial decision-making

  • Real-world application

You’ll notice that our Spring schedule now focuses on units and skill themes rather than fixed daily assignments or due dates. Specific assignments, activities, and deadlines will always be posted clearly in Canvas modules and announcements.

Real-World Flexibility

Just like in the real business world, plans evolve and adjustments happen.

Throughout the semester:

  • Content, pacing, and assignments may be adjusted

  • Opportunities may be added to deepen learning

  • All course items are subject to change

Any updates will be communicated in advance through Canvas.

Third-Party Learning Platforms

This semester, we will also be using approved third-party educational platforms to support career readiness and financial literacy skills.

  • These tools will be integrated into Canvas once setup is complete

  • Instructions will be provided before any work is assigned

  • All grades will continue to be tracked through Canvas

As always, your responsibility is to:

  • Check Canvas regularly

  • Read announcements carefully

  • Communicate if questions arise

Flexibility, adaptability, and communication are part of professional readiness , and we’ll be practicing all three this semester.

Looking forward to a great Spring term!
