  • Make and use maps and graphs to find and talk about important events from the past.
  • Put thoughts and data in order in different ways to share ideas with others.
  • Study how new tech tools and new ways people work can change our country's money and jobs.
  • Tell about big events in the United States and what happened because of them.
  • Tell how different kinds of people have added to what makes our country special.
  • Tell how leaders and rules, nature, people, and money can make people, stuff, and ideas go from place to place.
  • Tell how people can change rules to fix problems and make their country better.
  • Tell why some people and groups in the past had different ideas about the same events.
