Course Objectives:
- Communicate using single word phrases.
- Communicate using a variety of words and phrases.
- Identify familiar vocabulary and phrases in Spanish to reinforce prior knowledge in other content areas.
- Identify practices, products, and perspectives of various Spanish-speaking cultures.
- Identify practices and products associated with Spanish-speaking cultures.
- Identify false cognates.
- Communicate using familiar words and phrases.
- Translate words that describe family, friends, and physical characteristics.
- Identify a few words and phrases in written form.
- Identify some familiar words and phrases in spoken conversations.
- Identify words related to greetings, introductions, school, and other activities, and calendar.
